The programme is looking for leaders and influencers be it in communities or work environments  who want to help shape international issues that affect the livelihoods and wellbeing of their fellow citizens.

Opportunity details:

Chatham House, in partnership with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, is launching Common Futures Conversations, an online platform for dialogue between young people in Africa and Europe on the key international affairs and public policy issues that affect them, their communities and futures. Designed and driven by them, the platform will provide an opportunity for young people from both continents to exchange ideas and influence international decision-making towards improving outcomes for citizens.

To help develop the Common Futures Conversations they are seeking 26 Representatives (two from each participating country).

The international workshops will take place on 13-14 December 2018 and 24-25 January 2019.

Successful Representatives will demonstrate:

All expenses, including travel, visa applications, accommodation will be covered by Chatham House. In addition, Representatives will receive a wide range of training on conducting fieldwork and building networks, as well as a small stipend to cover occasional research tasks outside of the workshop environment.
