Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

  • can demonstrate financial hardship;
  • are of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
  • are enrolled in: 
    • the Doctor of Medicine
    • the Bachelor of Nursing
    • the Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery; or
    • the Master of Nursing Studies.

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

  • demonstrated financial hardship; 
  • strength of your personal statement included in your application, outlining how the scholarship will assist you with completion of your program; 
  • academic achievement, and
  • any other matter considered relevant to your future academic success.

About this scholarship:

This scholarship was established in 2013 and maintained by the Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Family Endowment Fund.
